My dearest 1m ,

Surprise to see my posting after so long? This might be the last time which I will be posting,
The day has come for us to bid farewell, as classmate but not sch mate, as we progress to year 2.

Do you still remember the guy who came in looking lost , bump into David Koh's Graphic design class and after introducing himself, he told David that he belongs to 1m ( and he said M is for =Monkey !) and as usual being "suan" by David Koh's library of sarcastic formula ... Feeling "SABRO", he walk up and was warmly welcome by the group of monkey , leon , zhi fong , gavin , din and chevy ..etc In the end he realize he was in the wrong class !!!

Do you still remember during the days in sem 1, when you need to check anything photography such as camera model,stock,spec,PRICING and you approach yr friendly "Camera Shop Salesman"(eh i am not a salesman hor!) in class during sheldon tay class and ask for opinion and even discount? And the irritating big camera walking around class taking photographs ?

And those times we spend together work,eat,play,

.........sleep(u know who u are...)

Lots of thoughts and images flash back when I was sleeping before presentation day, moments of my life in 1M be it sweet or bittle bits all comes to life. Let me share with you some of my experiences during this period of time whereby I'm unable to go school and live the usual way.

The journey was very bumpy for me during sem 2 and I was totally thrown out of the way I used to live my life, for the less 2 months I have been homeless and most of the time working on the ISP project outside, under void deck , library ,mac...etc and sometime I would even sleep on the location itself in the middle of the night just to be able to catch the golden moment of the first light in time . Countless of fail attempt due to bad weather but that doesn't deter me from getting the perfect shot done the way I want it to.

The final day has come, I am sure everyone tried their best in their work and is proud of it. I was really very surprise when my name are called, I would say I was lucky to be appreciated by the lecturers and was really surprised when they say my works is selected to participate in this year Crowbar Awards. I was also really glad and proud to see Brandon being selected as well, it brings back the days of memories whereby when he just started photography and he was always with me when I am out shooting, sharing my experiences with him. I was really happy to see his growth in his photography skill.

I have nothing expensive to give to everyone but all the photographs taken during this entire year. I hope that all the beautiful memories has been captured and will be well preserved for the years to come and when you look back at all the photos later in life, it will put a smile on yr face which brings back fond memories.

Take care 1M, there will always be a foot print left by each of you in my life. Thank you for being involved.

Pls send all the soft copy of your ISP work to my email or thru MSN and Skype by latest 2359 today. I need to compile everything into a disc and give to teacher on the ISP submission day.

Pls zip or rar them up with the following contents:

1. Your working files e.g photoshop, illustrator, indesign working files. Same for those doing video.

2. any other files imported into illus, InD, during the process of vectorizing them.

3. converted pdfs, tifs, jpegs or whatever format the file is that contains your final product. For video, please convert it to a lower resolution avi or mpg.

put them all into one folder and zip or rar the folder before sending it to me. If you guys are planning to send it to me thru thumbdrive tommorow, do not zip or rar your files, just put them in a folder and transfer to me tommorow. On the other hand, if you are thumbdriving me your files tommorow, please do it before latest 1530hrs.

Every mother's son and father's daughter pls take note , the upcoming Studio shoot will be happening on the 13th March (friday during the term's break) , looking to book it at around 10am till 6pm with breaks in between , own time own target . The studio is a new one with cozy setting located very near our sch area @

Studio Setting
Don't worry about setting things up in the studio , those who have some experience and me will try our best to guide and assist on the setup and stuff , just go enjoy yrself and fire away , studio is actually easier then on location shooting because once u nail yr setting correctly , u can stick on with it until u change yr lighting setup . So just have fun enjoying , acting like a clown , laughing at each other and pose away for the cameras ! Bring whatever u like to wear , no restriction !

Basically today, he just briefed the respective class reps on what will be happening during this coming wed's briefing.

on course major:
-We will be briefed on the 6 major choices and will be asked to choose 3 of them. We will be given 1 week to consider our majors.

- we will be given a form on the day and a submission location, time and date will be given to us.

- additional information on the criterias for various majors, posting process etc will be briefed on.

on administrative stuffs:
- we will be briefed on some administrative stuff and enquiries about electives will be answered.

- vacation modules for people who:
1. failed and need to repeat certain module(s).
2. those who did not earn enough credits to promote to year 2.

- English Language requirements for foreign students.

- other additional stuffs which we were not briefed about.

additional information:
- for those having animation class at 1200hrs on wednesday, you'll need to return to class immediately after the briefing has ended at 1230hrs.

- all course coordinators will also be present during the briefing, so if theres any further enquiries on course majors, do feel free to approach them for advices.

- attendance is strictly compulsory. there will be NO make-up briefings for absentees, charbo-ers and ponteng-ers. Pon at your own risk.

-Design a colour wheel. Colour wheel can be in any form and to be mounted

*for blue color, get Cobalt Blue Hue (Sakura one). It's the closest to the one
on the colour wheel. As for yellow, buy the Pentel one. That one matches the
colour wheel. (you might not want to follow my suggestions. (^_^) )
